How about an app that eliminates email, phone, and excel sheets.

The app is also integrated with the cloud/web login where it centralizes all issues and information in a standard format on one dashboard to allow managers and admin the ability to assess progress, identify common issues, and take proactive actions to improve performance.

It also allows personnel to record and describe from a smartphone and/or tablet (with pictures, voice, text, video, and onscreen markups) and collaborate with a remote person to receive instant help.

Hopefully this is the killer app you are asking about Joyce :)

When companies eliminate their physical (typically branch) offices altogether. Most employees would be better served by a tablet that a notebook, which also simplifies remote support.

Not necessarily a "killer app" but a can't miss opportunitiy for tablet deployments.

Per my recent blog, "Technology analyst Tim Bajarin suggested in one of his columns earlier this year that the answer to the killer app question could be what SAP’s CIO Oliver Bussmann calls "glanceable data." The term describes the ability to access real-time analytical data and corporate information in a format that enables fast decision making."
